π― Tips & Tricks
Make sure BepInEx is installed correctly before adding this modβcheck that the plugin folder exists in your Subnautica directory.
After installing, craft the Thermal Reactor Module at the Vehicle Upgrade Console and slot it into your Seamoth.
Test it near a thermal vent or lava geyser to see the charge rate; it won't work in cold water.

β οΈ Common Mistakes
- Installing multiple mods that modify the same files without checking compatibility
π Pros
- Huge download count (88k) shows this mod is widely used and trusted
- Simple, focused purpose: no bloat, just the thermal charging you want
- Actively maintained (updated Nov 2025) so it should work with current game versions
π Cons
- Requires BepInEx, so you'll need to set that up first if you haven't
- No detailed instructions in the descriptionβyou'll need to know how to install BepInEx plugins
- Only adds one module; if you wanted more Seamoth upgrades, this won't cover them
