Dodge Mod
skyrim — Mods & Enhancements
Dodge Mod adds a dodge mechanic to Skyrim, letting players sidestep or backstep with a configurable key (default Sprint). Requires SKSE and integrates with SkyUI 3.0+ for an in-game menu. A classic combat enhancement with over 11k endorsements, though it hasn't been updated since 2013.

🎯 Tips & Tricks
Make sure SKSE is installed and launched via skse_loader.exe, not the default launcher, or the mod won't work.
If you have SkyUI 3.0+, use the in-game MCM to adjust the dodge key and behavior; otherwise, you'll need to edit the INI file manually.
Test the dodge in a safe area first to get a feel for the timing and distance — it can be a lifesaver in combat but takes practice.

⚠️ Common Mistakes
- Installing multiple mods that modify the same files without checking compatibility
👍 Pros
- Huge community trust with 11,412 endorsements and 238k downloads.
- Simple, essential combat mechanic that fits seamlessly into Skyrim's gameplay.
- Configurable keybinding means you can set it to whatever feels natural.
👎 Cons
- Last updated in 2013 — likely outdated for the latest Skyrim versions and may need patches.
- Requires SKSE, which adds an extra setup step for modding newcomers.
- No built-in animation variety; the dodge uses the default sprint animation, which might look clunky.
