Maid Allay model for bee
minecraft — Mods & Enhancements
This mod replaces the default Allay mob model in Minecraft with a 'Maid Allay' design, featuring a maid outfit, apron, and headband, while also making it compatible with the 'Bee' mod (a mod that adds a bee companion). It changes the Allay's texture and geometry to look like a maid, but keeps its original behavior of collecting items and dancing to music. Players install this to add a cute, thematic twist to their Allay, often in modpacks focused on aesthetics or maid-themed builds, and it works alongside the Bee mod to ensure the Allay's model doesn't conflict with Bee's custom entities.

🎯 Tips & Tricks
Download and install the 'Bee' mod (e.g., 'Bees' by Gory_Moon) for your Minecraft version (1.19.2 or 1.20.1). Then place the 'maid_allay_model.jar' in your 'mods' folder. Launch the game, and use the command '/summon minecraft:allay' to spawn an Allay; the maid model will automatically apply. If you want the Bee companion to interact with the Allay, use the Bee's 'BeeNest' block to attract Allays.
If the Maid Allay appears too large or small next to Bee's companion, edit the 'scale' value in the mod's config file at '.minecraft/config/maid_allay.cfg'. Set 'scale' to 0.9 for a smaller size or 1.1 for larger. Save the file and restart the game to see the change.
If you have 'Curios' API installed, this mod adds a separate 'Maid Headband' item that you can equip on the Allay using a right-click with the item in hand. This headband provides no gameplay effect but adds a visual flair. To get it, use the command '/give @p maid_allay:maid_headband'.
To duplicate the Maid Allay, you still need to give it an 'Amethyst Shard' while it's dancing near a 'Jukebox'. This mod does not alter that mechanic, so ensure you have a jukebox and music disc. Use the command '/give @p minecraft:music_disc_13' to get a disc for testing.
If the Bee mod has its own Allay reskin option, go to the Bee mod's config file ('.minecraft/config/bee.cfg') and set 'allayOverride' to false. This prevents the Bee mod from overwriting the Maid Allay model. Then restart the game.
🔧 Troubleshooting
Maid Allay appears as a normal Allay with 'OptiFine' shaders
OptiFine's 'Custom Entity Models' setting can ignore the mod's texture. Open video settings > Quality > Custom Entity Models: ON, then set 'Custom Textures' to ON. If that fails, update OptiFine to the latest version compatible with your Minecraft version, as older versions have known rendering bugs with entity models.
Crash with 'Better Animals Plus' mod
Better Animals Plus adds its own Allay variants, causing a conflict. Place 'maid_allay_model.jar' AFTER 'betteranimalsplus.jar' in the mods folder (rename to 'zz_maid_allay_model.jar'). Also, in Better Animals Plus config, set 'allaySpawn' to false to disable its Allay spawning, allowing the vanilla Allay to use the maid model.
