Framework - Unique V Body Shape - Rig (LEGACY)
cyberpunk-2077 — Mods & Enhancements
This legacy framework replaces V's default body rig with a custom skeleton that allows V's body mesh to be scaled and shaped independently from all other NPCs, meaning you can give V a completely different silhouette (e.g., taller, wider hips, broader shoulders) without affecting any NPC or enemy body types. It works by injecting a new .rig file into the game's animation system, which then applies to V's base body mesh only. Players install this to achieve a unique look for their V, especially when combined with body mods like 'Hyst Body' or 'Unique V Body', but it's marked as LEGACY because recent updates to the game's skeleton system (v2.0+) have made it partially obsolete.

🎯 Tips & Tricks
After installing, load a save and stand still in first person. If the rig is working, V's shoulders will be slightly wider and the hip sway will be more pronounced compared to default. If not, go to 'Cyberpunk 2077/archive/pc/mod' and ensure the file 'base_rig_v_legacy.rig' is present. Then, in the CET console, type 'RigManager.Override(V, true)' to force the custom rig.
Edit this file at 'Cyberpunk 2077/archive/pc/mod/FrameworkUniqueV/config.ini'. Set 'ShoulderWidth=1.2' and 'HipWidth=0.8' for a more masculine V, or 'ShoulderWidth=0.9' and 'HipWidth=1.3' for a curvier V. After editing, you must restart the game for changes to apply – the rig is loaded at startup only.
Some clothing items (especially from 'Erebus' or 'Johnny's Pants') can reset V's skeleton. To fix, open the CET console and type 'RigManager.Reapply()'. This will re-inject the rig without requiring a reload, preventing your V from suddenly reverting to default proportions mid-game.
🔧 Troubleshooting
Incompatibility with 'Hyst Body' (Enhanced Big Breast) because Hyst's mesh replaces V's base body, overriding the rig's scale
Install 'Hyst Body' first, then this framework, and make sure you use the 'Hyst Body Patch' file from this mod's optional files. The patch modifies Hyst's mesh to include the rig's custom bone weights. If you still see clipping, open the .ini and set 'BodyMeshCompatibility=Hyst' to force the framework to use Hyst's skeleton instead of the default.
Crashes with 'Cyberpunk 2077 v2.1' due to the game's new physics system overriding the rig's bone transforms
This is a known issue. Download the 'Legacy Rig Fix for 2.1' patch from the mod's posts section. It adds a compatibility .reds file that disables the game's new 'PhysicsBoneOverride' for V only, allowing the custom rig to work. Place this .reds file in 'r6/scripts/custom' and ensure the framework's .archive is loaded before any physics mods like 'Immersive Physics'.
